There’s something quietly remarkable about the first birthday — the chubby thighs, the newly-earned toothy grins, the sense of wonder still fresh in every glance. My cake smash sessions are designed to honour that milestone with intention and simplicity, with a dash of cheeky mess and the option to add a lovely bubble bath for your little one at the end (think splashing in a mini bath, bubbles on those gorgeous curls and just allowing your little one to have a play in water.. lets be honest, bath time is always fun!).

Photographed in my beautiful natural light studio in Wollongong, these sessions embrace a minimalist aesthetic — no clutter, no distractions — just your little one, as they are, right now. It's an honest celebration of how far they've come.

An optional add-on is available for a few timeless portraits with Mama and baby together — a gentle nod to the bond that carried them through this first trip around the sun.

Less is more. The milestone speaks for itself. Our time is calm and tailored to your little one's pace - we schedule the session to coincide with sleep schedules and just like our newborn sessions, is led by your little one. We play, we take breaks and we cuddle.. my space is a place to unwind and melt into this moment.
